# week 13 of 2025 ![[uranDuo.jpg]] [Uran.Duo](https://www.instagram.com/uran.duo/) is a husband & wife illustration team that creates charming lighthearted images with a strong graphic design style. --- ### neat stuff you can look at ![[ACX1424-ND.webp]] [Rotating Parts](https://rotating.parts) is a collection of different computer parts, plugs, and ports spinning around. That's all it is; there's nothing deeper to the site. It seems to be a geekier version of [Rotating Sandwiches](https://rotatingsandwiches.com). ![[knolling.png]] Only a decade and a half after it became popular, I finally learned the whole [Things Organized Neatly](https://thingsorganizedneatly.tumblr.com) trend is called [Knolling](https://knolling.org/what-is-knolling). This [sub-Reddit](https://www.reddit.com/r/knolling/)shows that Knolling is still a thing even if it isn't as popular in media design as it used to be. > The appeal of knolling lies in its simplicity and minimalism. It is a way to showcase the beauty of everyday objects by presenting them in a clear and organized manner. > > — [Max Zsol](https://knolling.org/) --- ### neat stuff you can play with ![[ascii_face.png]] [ASCII Facemaker](https://adelfaure.net/tools/ascii_facemaker/) is a surprisingly expansive avatar creator that uses only basic ASCII characters. The results would be perfect for old-school text adventure games. ![[orisinal.png]] [Orisinal](https://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/) is a collection of amazing high-quality small video games by Ferry Halim. Each one is a prime example of interactive art. I loved these twenty years ago but then the death of Flash brought them to an end. Recently I discovered they are somehow all playable again with modern browsers. Joy upon joy! ![[ElderScrolls-Arena.png]] [WePlayDOS](https://weplaydos.games/) lets you play classic 90s DOS games directly in the browser. Games include the original Doom, the first Fallout, and the first two Elder Scrolls games (the foundation for games like Skyrim). Tons of good stuff here, especially for old guys like me who want a trip down memory lane.
