# make the thing Actually doing the work needed to make whatever you are making. It is the long slog of production bringing the ideas to fruition. It doesn't matter how great your ideas are, you still need to [[get to work]] and [[get it on the page]]. So get lost in the moment and make whatever it is you are making. Code the website, sculpt the statue, paint the painting. For some, this is the best part of the process, the time when they get to get their hands dirty. Hours can be lost in the happy joy of actual production. In addition, there's just something cool about getting done and looking back at what you made. The satisfaction of doing good work for its own sake is a very real thing. Others will struggle with this process. The joy of exploring ideas can sour when faced with the daunting task of actually making things, especially if production is tedious or frustrating or, even worse, boring. It doesn't matter, you still have to jump in and make the thing(s).
